Fundamentals of Brake Operations is a six-module online course covering press brakes, bending and forming methods, bend calculations, tooling selection, punches and dies, and safety. Through videos, simulations, interactive exercises, and practical examples, you’ll learn essential techniques for producing quality bent parts right the first time. Whether you operate a press brake or design bent parts, this course provides practical knowledge and tips to strengthen your skills, improve accuracy, and build confidence in producing quality parts.

About the Instructor
With more than 40 years experience in the sheet metal industry, Steve Benson is president of ASMA, a supplier of software, textbooks, and training for press brake operators and engineers. He has authored seven press brake texts, programmed related software, and currently publishes the Precision Sheet Metal Chronicle. Steve is an active member of FMA’s Precision Sheet Metal Technology Council.
